VALDOSTA — Peach State Summer Theatre and Valdosta State University Theatre and Dance have earned a total of 43 nominations across 15 categories of the 2023 Broadway World Tallahassee Awards.   

Now it’s up to fans, friends, and family to decide who will win. Voting continues through Dec. 31 at . Winners will be announced January 2024.

Peach State Summer Theatre, or PSST, is Valdosta’s premiere professional summer stock theatre. It started in 1990 as the Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival; it was relocated to the university and renamed PSST in 2005. The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Legislature designated PSST the Official Musical Theatre of the State of Âé¶¹´«Ã½. The 2024 season will be announced soon.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Theatre and Dance is committed to fostering excellence within its theatre performance, theatre production, theatre management, musical theatre, and dance programs while also contributing to the lifelong learning and cultural development of the citizens of South Âé¶¹´«Ã½, North Florida, and beyond.
